The first writer's description is a fluffy nothing written by a malcontent. Neil has written an extremely evocative song of early Americana. Anyone who has not seen / imagined the various scenes in the song has no EQ or imagination.

It carries in my mind near perfection in lyrical prose:

_"Shelter me from the Powder and the Finger
Cover me with the thought that pulled the trigger
Just think of me as one you never figured"_

As any Water Sign (Rising Sign or Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus or Mars) would identify strongly with that sentiment.
