This song goes very, intentionally deep. Its main theme, "Burn the ships", is about leaving our old life and stepping out into a new day — or in other words, burning the old comfort of our ships so that we cannot cuddle in the familiarity of the boat. Even if our boat is dirty, we may still stay there anyway because we don't want to explore the unknown that may be scary for us. Likewise, in our Christian lives, there is a time to say goodbye to the old — to leave our old friends, old habits, or even old home behind, especially if it is trying to tractor-beam us back into sin. The LORD will provide our needs, more than enough to account for whatever we give up, if we know Him and if we ask Him to provide!
